My clients are a busy family of 6 that needed a home that was both functional and beautiful in equal measure. Addressing the lack of storage, increasing the feeling of light and space and creating a considered and cohesive home were the main criteria for this project. Choosing materials that would withstand the pressures of family life but maintain their form and beauty was important. Adding in touches of luxury through the choices of materials, colours, textures, I was able to mix both a traditional and contemporary aesthetic. Another beautiful example of a complete design and build project developed from concept to completion, this Kent farmhouse has been transformed into a bright, practical and beautiful family home with a design palette which will stand the test of time.
